6063-T5 Aircraft Aluminum Frames

GeoShelters uses 6063-T5 Aircraft Aluminum alloy with it's geodesic dome frame systems.  This high-strength, high-torsion material is perfectly suited for use in our frames - frames that can flex as they support wind and snow loads - without bending.  These frame systems are so strong, you can suspend several hundred pounds of load from any frame hub with confidence.  Hammocks, suspended chairs, cargo netting, and other gear management systems can easily be employed without risk of deforming the frame, or causing a frame failure.

Easy Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions

GeoShelters frame systems are easy to assemble with color-coded frame components that make it simple to quickly put together your frame system.  You simply start with shapes!  For the GeoShelter24 system, you simply build 5 pentagon shapes, and then join them with 5 hexagons and 5 half-hexagons.  The exact calculated frame element lengths form the dome shape!

Form-Fitted 10+Year Rated Covers

GeoShelters is proud to offer 10+year rated covers that are custom made to fit not only the GeoShelters frame systems, but other 24' dome systems as well.  These Architectural fabric covers come with factory installed weather protected zippers, clear vinyl windows, sealable vent systems, and a customizable stove jack ready to receive stove pipes to keep your GeoShelter system warm and comfortable regardless of what the outside weather may throw at you!  The fabric is fully protected against UV rays, and will  quickly shed snow and rain without accumulation.  The cover material is also flame retardant - not just flame resistant!
